318 Acres, Dawes County – Dawes County Grass and Irrigated
- Sold
Dawes County Grass and Irrigated acres is a very productive half section of Nebraska farmland for sale in southern Dawes County. There are 251 acres of grass and 63 acres of irrigation under an older Zimmatic pivot. The irrigation well had a new pump put on one year ago, and it’s a very good well. The pivot does have drops installed on it. There is currently an older stand of alfalfa/grass on it. Access to this property is very good. It’s located 23 miles south and 1/2 mile west of Chadron, Nebraska with a county road forming the south boundary of the property.
There is a seasonal creek with a pond at the south end of the property, so there is some sub-irrigated meadow. The Sellers summer approximately 40 pairs for five months on the grass. There is a submersible stock well and three stock tanks located in the pastures. The deer hunting is very good on this property. Call Scott with any questions on this very nice grass, and irrigated combo unit.
