Skip Marland

Skip Marland is a licensed Real Estate Associate Broker with Lashley Land and Recreational Brokers, Inc. with over 40 years of experience in Ag real estate sales, financing, management, appraisals and consulting; specializing in ranch and farm. He holds both the NE state-certified general appraiser’s license as well as the national ARA accreditation with ASFMRA; and has served as its national District Vice President and as its President for the NE state chapter.

An Alpha Zeta honors graduate from Colorado State University with a B.S. in Agriculture, Marland held the rank of Captain serving in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Viet Nam Era. He was a farm and ranch sales, management and Ag loan officer for The Travelers Companies for 14 years and an Ag loan correspondent for 19 years for The Prudential through the Hall and Hall network. He also sold all the farms and ranches for the Hall and Hall Denver office for 12 years in NE, WY and KS. Marland also served as a senior Ag Loan Officer for Great Western Bank Nebraska Region for 6 years. He is currently a Farm and Ranch Loan Correspondent for long term real estate financing.

Skip Marland owns and operates both a ranch in the NE Sandhills as well as farmland in Nebraska and is a licensed pilot.
