Sidney is located only a short 9 miles from the Colorado-Nebraska state line. This city is in Cheyenne county, and has many parks, restaurants and shops to offer the families living there, which make it a great place to look for farmland or ranch land for sale. Sidney was named after Sidney Dillon, who was the president of the Union Pacific Railroad. The town was founded in 1867 and was near Fort Sidney.
