This is an incredible little waterfowl hotspot. Located in the heart of the Central Flyway, this is a first class honey hole for waterfowl. There are streams and sloughs on this property that stay open all year. The photos of this property were taken when it was 11 degrees out at 10:00 in the morning. The previous night had been 10 below zero, and as you can see there is not a single cube of ice. The number of ducks and geese regularly on this property number in the thousands. In addition to its location in the center of the greatest flyway in North America, the Fleisbach Wildlife Management Area is across the river just to the south of this property. When this broker arrived to take pictures, he spooked up an enormous black cloud of Mallards off the warm water slough.
This property is a tremendous deer and turkey spot as well. Note the photo of the whitetail taken just this last winter. Turkey would also be found on this property, a large flock was spotted by the Broker on the day the pictures were taken. There is a quaint little hunting cabin with two bedrooms with running water and electricity, everything you need for an extended hunting trip. This is truly a mixed-bag gem. This 112 acre paradise has it all!
