Gurley is a town located in Cheyenne county. This town is roughly 15 miles north of Sidney, and was founded in 1913, which was when the railroad reached the area. It was named after a superintendent with the Burlington Railroad, Fred. R. Gurley. Ad of the 2010 census, there were roughly 215 people living in the area, making it a great, quiet place to live and look for farmland for sale.
